Welcome to the 2014 Sole Challenge

The Sole Challenge 24 hour race is a premier running event hosted by The Runner’s Sole running specialty store.

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SEPTEMBER 3rd 2014!!

 

NEW FOR THE 2015 24 HOUR RACE-WE WILL OFFER RELAY TEAMS FOR EACH OF THE TIMED EVENTS. TEAMS OF 2 FOR THE 6 HOUR; TEAMS OF 4 FOR THE 12 HOUR; TEAMS OF 6 FOR THE 24 HOUR RACE. TEAMS CAN BE ALL MALE, FEMALE OR MIXED. PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN TO THE TEAMS IN EACH CATEGORY FOR THE MOST MILES RAN IN EACH EVENT. REGISTRATION MUST BE HANDLED THROUGH EMAIL WITH ALL TEAM NAMES AND WAIVERS WILL BE SIGNED AT THE EVENT. COST WILL BE $75 PER RUNNER ON EACH TEAM. The course is a 1.547mile (USATFCert#13-08-054) loop on an 8ft wide asphalt path winding around the park.

There will be a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish line, and a small liquids only aid station half-way around the course.

Norlo park offers family and spectators a plethora of attractions that include: a kids train ride, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, two dog parks, baseball fields, soccer fields and more. There are multiple parking lots and large fields for RV’s & campers for the weekend at no additional charge. 

 

PRE-RACE DINNER OFFERED AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER (beside silo) FRIDAY 5/22/15 FROM 5-7PM. FREE FOR ALL REGISTERED RUNNERS (6, 12, 24 HOUR RACES). $8.00/additional meal ticket. Pay at door.
